The story begins with Kamal, a poor but kind-hearted young man, and Aaradhya, a beautiful and wealthy girl, who fall in love in the 1940s. However, their love is forbidden, and they are separated by Aaradhya's family. Kamal dies, heartbroken, and Aaradhya is forced to marry another man.
