Pacific Rim: Uprising takes place five years after the events of the first film. The story follows Raleigh Becket (Charlie Hunnam), now a pilot for the Jaeger program, and his new co-pilot, Lt. Gipsy Danger (John Boyega). As a new threat emerges in the form of a group of rogue Jaegers, the duo must team up with a young and hotshot pilot, Nate Lambert (Lana Condor), to save humanity from destruction.
