The anime is set in the Sengoku period of Japan, a time of great turmoil and warfare among various daimyos (feudal lords). The story follows the adventures of Fūka, a young and spirited ninja girl from the Iga region, known for their ninja clans. Fūka becomes involved with Oda Nobunaga, a powerful and ambitious daimyo who seeks to unify Japan under his rule.
