The Nafhatul Arab movement, which translates to "Breath of the Arabs," was a literary and intellectual revival that began in the early 20th century. The movement was led by a group of Arab writers and thinkers who sought to modernize and revitalize Arabic literature, which they felt had become stagnant and disconnected from the contemporary world. The movement's leaders, including Muhammad Husayn Heikal and Taha Hussein, aimed to create a new generation of Arabic literature that was innovative, expressive, and connected to the experiences of the Arab people.
